K3S Hub Transfer System enables a distributor to tackle that environment. With ever increasing minimum order requirements being placed on distributors to purchase from suppliers, having a solid plan to use Distribution Centers (DC's) in the network to act as Hubs to supply other DC's is essential to maximizing profitability. We can provide "Right Start" assistance through a single one hour conference call session for very short topics, or provide a series of weekly conference call sessions followed by an on-site visit for those who require more assistance.

October 2nd, 1004 - Bracket Level Pricing. Currently in the K3S system you have the ability to enter up to nine Discount Level Brackets for a supplier. The system will help you reach the next bracket level by allocating inventory evenly in time supply. With this new enhancement you will be able to enter up to 9 levels of Bracket Level Pricing that correspond to your Supplier Discount Brackets.

September 1st, 2004 - Time to turn that around. There are only 12 (or 13) chances each year for a purchasing staff to perform the Period End Event. If you are not taking advantage of it, this could be costing your company thousands of dollars by making uneducated buying decisions.

  • Selected Products Review Batches to provide product sequencing by ‘importance’ (most important products appear first).

July 30th, 2004 - Visit to Parts Central (auto parts) in Macon, GA. One of the topics discussed is a new feature for Release 5 that will help forecasting for slow moving products. Quarterly forecasting is an area that shows promise for several of our K3S customers who currently have monthly history that looks similar to the values of 0.0.1.0.0.2.0.0.1.0.0.3.0.0.1.
